For MergeYourData, my work focused on editing and packaging YouTube content so that technical topics—especially HubSpot integration tutorials—became easier to follow and more engaging from the first seconds. I approached this as both an editing task and a content-structure task: improve clarity, strengthen pacing, and create reusable assets that make production more consistent moving forward.
Key actions I took included:
- Edited YouTube tutorial content to improve pacing, clarity, and overall viewer retention
- Refined tutorial flow for HubSpot integration topics so steps feel easier to follow and less overwhelming
- Removed distractions and tightened dead space to keep the content “quick tutorial” friendly
- Created branded content assets such as intros to improve consistency and recognition across uploads
- Produced short-form assets (reels-style clips) to repurpose key insights and attract new viewers
- Aligned edits with the channel’s positioning: RevOps, signal-based marketing, and sales analytics to avoid missing revenue targets
Throughout the editing process, I kept the viewer journey in mind: hook early, establish the value of the tutorial quickly, and make each step feel visually and verbally structured. The goal was to help MergeYourData communicate expertise in a way that’s accessible to busy operators, marketers, and sales teams—while also supporting the channel’s broader growth and lead-generation goals.
