To address these challenges, I designed a custom website that blends Belle Époque inspiration with modern web design principles. The objective was to create a refined digital experience that felt elegant, immersive, and easy to navigate—mirroring the café’s physical atmosphere while remaining practical for online users.
I began by studying Belle Époque design elements such as decorative typography, balanced symmetry, and refined visual accents. Instead of replicating historical styles directly, I adapted them into a contemporary layout that felt light and intentional. This ensured the site remained visually rich without overwhelming visitors.
Typography, spacing, and color palette were carefully selected to communicate luxury and warmth. Visual hierarchy guided users naturally through the site, highlighting Menu4You’s offerings and signature experiences, including the Artisanal Coffee Tasting sessions held every Saturday. Each section was designed to support storytelling while maintaining clarity and ease of use.
Responsiveness and accessibility were also key considerations. The site was optimized to perform seamlessly across devices, ensuring that elegance was preserved whether viewed on desktop, tablet, or mobile. This allowed Menu4You to reach a broader audience without compromising design quality.
Key actions I took included:
- Designed a Belle Époque-inspired visual system adapted for the web
- Balanced ornate aesthetics with clean, modern layouts
- Highlighted Menu4You’s artisanal offerings through visual storytelling
- Ensured responsive and accessible design across all devices
- Aligned every design decision with the café’s brand identity
Throughout the process, I focused on restraint and intention. Every design element served a purpose, reinforcing the café’s values while delivering a smooth and inviting user experience.
